The Chandrashila trek in the Garhwal Mountains will take you to the Switzerland of India Chopta. This trek is all year around except during the months of January and December. We will be trekking to Tungnath which is the highest temple among the 5 Kedars at an altitude of 3680 meters, the view of the surrounding peaks is breathing.
We will then trek to Chandrashila (3950 meters) which is as close to heaven as you can get in the mortal self.
The view of this place is too good to be true, from here we shall trek to Deoriatal, this lake is situated at 2438 meters and is surrounded by dense forest all around with a rich gathering of flora and fauna.

This is an all year round trek except December and January.
Itenary
Day-1: We will be traveling to Rishikesh from Delhi. We will be staying in our camp (river rafting) on the river Ganges at Bayasi. Stay will be in tented accommodation.
Day-2: Today we will be traveling to Ukhimath(1370 meters) which is a drive of around 7 hours. We will pass Devprayag and Rudraprayag on the way to our destination. Stay will be in tented accommodation.
Day-3: We will begin our trek to Deorital(2348 meters) in the morning, we will be trekking through forests of the famous Rhodendron jungle, we will have plenty of opportunity during this trek to see the abundant flora and fauna of Garhwal mountains. Stay will be in tented accommodation.
Day-4: We will begin our trek with an outing to Sari village and then we will drive to Chopta through the back waters of Garhwal. This will be relaxing day as we will explore the wonders of the Garhwal Mountains. Stay will be in tented accommodation.
Day-5: We will be trekking to Chandrashila through Tungnath(3680 meters) and then back to Chopta. This will be a hard trek with the magnificence of the Himalayas as company, you trek through lush green grasslands. We will be paying homage at the temple in Tungnath. Stay will be in tented accommodation.
Day-6: We will be heading our camp in Byasi where we will be able to do a bit of river rafting (optional). Stay will be in tented accommodation.
Day-7: We shall be going back to our destinations after this wonderful outing.
