The trek to Kalindikhal is for people who love a challenge or two in their lives, this trek will test your endurance while taking you through picture perfect settings you will always cherish. Starting from Nandanvan onwards to Vasukital after acclimatization (is important). After crossing the Bhagirathi peak which gives you a fantastic view of the famous Shiviling peaks we will be moving onwards to Vasukital (4900m) which
is surrounded by mountains all around the Tal (lake). The surface glimmers like a bed of stars and is a source to Vasuki Ganga which feeds the Mandakini. After crossing the Kalindikhal pass (5967m), which will test your endurance, you will be treated to breathtaking splendor of the snowy peaks all around you. The trek will now be downwards sloping towards Arwatal and the last village Mana, which is on the border India shares with China.

Itinerary
Day One:
Arrival at New Delhi airport, transfer to taxi and we will be of straight to Hardwar. After checking in a must-see is the evening Arati (worship) at Har-Ki-Pauri on the bank of the river Ganges.

Day Two:
The drive to Gangotri is one of the most scenic routes you can drive through; lush green mountains and snow-covered peaks greet you as you reach Gangotri (3200 meters).

Day Three:
Today we will be stretching our legs with a 14 km trek to Bhojwasa, after partaking breakfast and carrying packed lunch; this will take approximately 6 to 7 hours.

Day Four:
We will be having our breakfast with nature as our companion, after getting packed lunch we are off to Tapovan which is approximately 10 km and the trek time is 4 hours. This place has to be on your must explore list, return to Bhojwasa for the night halt.

Day Five:
Today will be an Acclimatization trek to Nandanvan (4337 meters) 6km 3 to 4 hours with packed lunch.

Day Six:
We will be continuing our Acclimatization as we trek to the beautiful Vasukital (4888 meters) 13km and 6 to 7 hours with snowy peaks as your companions.

Day Seven:
Today we will be finishing our acclimatization; the trek will take us to Suralaya Glacier (5456 meters) 7 km in 5 to 6 hours is the trekking time. The beauty of the hard packed ice is seen to be believed.

Day Eight:
After having breakfast we will be off to Khara Pathar, (5480meters) it’s a 6 km trek through tough terrain, it will take 4 to 5 hours.

Day Ninth:
Today we will be reaching the Kalindi Base\Sweta Glacier (5500 meters). The trek is 8km and the time taken is 5 to 6 hours. Dinner will be with the great mountains and snow covered peaks as your companions.

Day Tenth:
Today we will be conquering the Kalindi Pass (5947meters), the stark reality of this place hits you in the gut and you are humbled by the awesome surroundings, as you cross it and go on to Rajparav\Rajpary (4910meters), this will be the place you will be camping in. After dinner its time to tuck in and have a good nights sleep. The distance covered today will be 12 km in approximately 8 hours.

Day Eleventh:
Today after breakfast, we will be trekking to Arwatal (3910meters). The distance covered will be 13 km in 7 to 8 hours. This will mostly be a downward trek.

Day Twelfth:
Today’s trek will take us to Ghastoli (3796meters) the distance covered will be 16km in 7 hours, we will be trekking through terrain which will challenge us as we move forward.

Day Thirteen:
After breakfast we will be moving towards Mana Village (3096meters) and onwards to Badrinath, total kilometers will be 16 and time taken will be 6 to 7 hours. After a peg or two to toast the amazing trek and dinner we will hit the bed hard.

Day Fourteen:
After visiting Badrinath, we will be of to Rishikesh by road, reaching here in the evening we will be visiting the holy temples and meditating to relax our body and mind.

Day Fifteen:
Taking the taxi\train back to Delhi to catch your plane at the airport. If you have time then Delhi is a must see, we can arrange a half day sight seeing tour.
