What Kind Of River Is Suitable For You?

We will provide you a option of choosing the river on which you want to enjoy your whitewater rafting. You can choose from 7 rivers which all are at a days drive. We will give you the required information about the difficulty level and the class of rapids you would be encountering which would help you in deciding which is the best for you and your family. Close proximity to cities like Atlanta, Knoxville, Tennessee and Nashville make these rivers ideal for whitewater rafting trips.

The Mighty Rivers

French Broad River

The French Broad River is located in Western North Carolina near Asheville in the state of North Carolina in America. The rapids on this river would vary from class II till class IV which would provide an excellent introduction for families and novices. The French Broad river winds through Pisgah National Forest located in the mountains of North Carolina and provides some excellent whitewater rafting. The French Broad River has various whitewater sections; you have the benefit of choosing the one which is nearest to your location. The section of whitewater near Walnut is well-situated for people living in Asheville and Hot Springs, which is a quaint little mountain township. You can opt for a day trip or stay overnight at our camp to soak in the beautiful natural surroundings. This free flowing river is one of the oldest rivers in the world and a full day trip on it would be experience of a life time.

We have rafted the French Broad for the last 10 years and will offer you a series of options: different boats available, flexible trip times and wholly guided or guide-assisted full and half-day sections. Half-day superior and full-day trips consist of a waterside deli-style lunch. Our Overnight features 2 days of rafting with meals and camping.

You can choose from the below mentioned trips:-

Half Day Trip: - The half day trip is best suited for beginners. You would be rafting for approximately 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs and the total time spent would be 3-4 hrs. The rapids on this section of the river would be class II and class III.

Full Day: - Their would be facing some very challenging rapids on this stretch of whitewater. You would experience the thrill of whitewater rafting at its best. You would be on the river for 4-6 hrs for a complete day of amazing rafting. The full-day expedition adds the breathtaking Class IV Frank Bell's rapid, which is a river-wide plunge.

Best Time
Best time to go for whitewater rafting on The French Broad River is from mid March till end of October. We are located near Hot Springs in North Carolina. It is about 26 miles from Ashville. Chattooga River Rafting

A river which has something to offer to everybody, from the novice to the professional, that is how I would describe Chattooga River. The Chattooga River offers whitewater rafting on 2 sections, exclusive adventure and some of the most stunning countryside would be on offer for you to view. The natural beauty of Chattooga River is highlighted by cascading waterfalls, huge rock falls and lush green landscape. We would provide the best possible equipment which is suitable for some tough sections of the river (like self bailing rafts). It would be fabulous experience to explore the river on a off day and enjoy a full day of exciting whitewater rafting.


We would provide you the best gear, skilled instructors and our years of experience to make your journey down the Chattooga River a memorable trip. Exciting whitewater rapids combined with amazing country side makes it a unforgettable journey. We would offer our guest 2 different sections of whitewater rafting which would cover the varied skill levels of all. You can choose from a full day trip or a half day trip which would include riverside lunch.

We will also provide you the option of combining both sections of the river which would include overnight stay and cookouts and camping by the riverside. For the more experienced and adventures the famed section IV of the river provides some astounding whitewater rafting and thrilling rapids sure to quench the appetite of even the pros. This section of whitewater rafting is home to some amazing grade IV and +IV rapids which would be navigated using the most advantageous equipment (like self bailing rafts) and the experience of our river guides.

You can choose from the below mentioned trips:-

Half Day Trip: - You would be rafting for approximately 2.5-3 hrs and the total time spent on the river would be 4 hrs. The classification of rapids would be II, III and IV on this trip. The minimum age is 7 years and has to be accompanied by a adult for supervision.

Full Day Trip: - The total time would be approximately 6hrs with rafting for about 4-5 hrs. The rapids would be of grade III, IV and +IV. The minimum age would be 13 years and accompanied by a adult.

Ideal Time
The best time to go whitewater rafting on the Chattooga River is from mid March till end of October. The availability would vary according to the water level and it is best to call us in advance and check. The US Forestry Service limits the number of people who can raft down the river in a day, so it is important to book in advance.

We are located 11 miles east of Clayton, GA, 107 miles NE of Atlanta, 52 miles W of Greenville, SC.

Cost includes river fees and required equipment like wetsuits etc.
